Information Technology Specialist

SPECIALISATION:

 Mr Channa is currently the Information Technology Co-ordinator for both PAN Livestock Services and the Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics Research Unit (VEERU) at the University of Reading. In this capacity he assists in developing information technology tools for animal health, animal production, and laboratory information systems.

He also manages and co-ordinates a network of 50 computers under the Microsoft NT4/2000 operating system, and maintains the PAN Livestock, VEERU and InterAgri  website. He provides tuition in the use of Microsoft Office software and the Internet to VEERU postgraduate students. 

 He has extensive experience in the following IT systems and applications:

• Microsoft Exchange Server System Design, Installation and Administration

• Internet Information Server System Installation and Administration
