Originally
trained as an urban and regional development planner, Mrs Putt became
interested in the problems of livestock sector development while working
in Ghana.
For
the last 15 years, Mrs Putt has been involved with the administration of
projects managed by PAN Livestock Services in Ghana, Kenya, Zambia,
India, and Botswana, including mobilisation, procurement and physical
and financial monitoring. She was responsible for the development of
specialised information system equipment procurement activities and for
assisting clients in the specification of their hardware and software
requirements. Currently, she is responsible for administration of the
company’s finances.
She also teaches financial management to students who attend
courses at Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics Research Unit (VEERU)
