Livestock Economics: Production System Analysis

Effective and appropriate livestock intervention activities rely on an accurate understanding of production system characteristics and constraints. PAN Livestock provides services and expertise in livestock systems as diverse as intensive commercial dairying, organic systems, mixed smallholder farms, and pastoralist production. Practical analytical tools range from participatory needs assessment and farming systems research to productivity modelling software and geographic information systems.
