Information Systems: System Design

Through its experience in the field of veterinary epidemiology, PAN Livestock specialises in the development of holistic livestock information systems supporting decision-making processes at all levels of the agriculture sector. PAN Livestock offers comprehensives services in support of the design, development and maintenance of national production and disease reporting systems, and has contributed to such systems world-wide.

PAN Livestock staff offer long-term experience in the design, development and maintenance of monitoring and evaluation systems for livestock projects and programmes, to ensure accurate and timely information flows to support decision-making processes.

• Review of data processing at PARC epidemiology unit, Kenya (FAO).

•  Advice on establishment of Livestock Planning and Information Unit, Ghana (World Bank).
