Information Systems: Data Collection and Analysis

PAN Livestock has extensive experience in the generation and analysis of data to support informed decision-making in the livestock sector.

Expertise includes planning and undertaking epidemiological surveys, livestock health and production monitoring and recording, and economic and socio-economic baseline studies. PAN Livestock offers a range of quantitative, informal and participatory tools in support of data collection and analysis activities.

Recent activities:

• Assessment of livestock information collection needs, Ministry of Agriculture, Uruguay (DFID).

• Advice on design & implementation of herd health and productivity studies for KETRI, Kenya (DFID).
